Information on the Wisconsin Marijuana (Cannabis) Advisory Referendum

In Wisconsin, there is a coordinated effort underway by some county boards to rush through an advisory cannabis referendum, presumably to legalize recreational marijuana. This blog is in response to the lack of information provided. Important data is missing from this referendum. Where is the expert testimony, victim testimony, environmental impact studies and state comparative data? Why no data? Good question. Here is some information to provide to your own county board.

"I voted FOR the marijuana decriminalization initiative in Colorado some years back. If it were held today, I'd vote against. That's tough for me to say as a Libertarian, but the problem is Colorado's unusual policy makes us a magnet for all the wrong kind of people coming into this state from elsewhere. Violent crime is up in Colorado, whereas it's down in most of the country. Bums all over the sidewalks and at street intersections is something we never used to have. Denver is being turned into San Francisco. (OK, not nearly that bad, but the trendline's worrisome.) Now CNN's reporting that Colorado's governor is wondering if the initiative needs to be repealed.
Curious what others think, both here and in other states.
